AcquisitionOSProduct demonstration
Independent concept in development AcquisitionOS is a working demonstration under active development. Seller and staff workflow data is fictional; Marketplace Leads are real public listing observations captured at the displayed fetched times. Policies remain proposed; no dealership has approved, purchased, piloted, or deployed this product.
T.J. Bumgardner · Acquisitions Manager candidate

Let’s build acquisitions together.

Leads arrive from everywhere. Evidence is incomplete. Decisions stall. Purchased vehicles disappear into title, transport, or recon—and every lost day costs the dealership money. I’m building AcquisitionOS to give an Acquisitions Manager control of that entire chain.

AcquisitionOS is the first working piece of Symphony Automotive—the broader dealership-operations concept I launched from everything I learned in consulting, customer experience, CRM health, workflow automation, and frontline dealership work.

The person behind Symphony Automotive

I launched this concept from work I had already spent years learning how to do.

My consulting career taught me how to diagnose unhealthy CRMs, improve customer experiences, map complicated workflows, automate repeatable work, implement practical systems, train the people using them, and stay accountable through handoff. Symphony Automotive is where those capabilities meet dealership operations. AcquisitionOS is the first working expression of that goal.

  • 86completed consulting, implementation, optimization, and solutions projects across approximately 60 client organizations
  • End-to-enddelivery from discovery and process mapping through configuration, testing, training, documentation, and client handoff
  • 29+documented discovery engagements translating operational needs into solution designs
  • 38structured Zendesk project kickoffs with requirements and configuration planning

CareerOS-verified professional evidence. Frontline dealership experience supplies current workflow and customer context; this demo does not claim prior production automotive-software deployments or dealership adoption.

“I am looking for the dealership or dealer group where I can lead acquisitions and keep building this in the real environment it was meant to serve—for mutual benefit, with results measured honestly.”

What Symphony Automotive is

The larger dealership-operations vision I created.

I launched Symphony Automotive to bring the strongest parts of my consulting career into dealership operations. AcquisitionOS is the first product I’m building under that vision—not something I acquired, licensed, or inherited from another organization.

AcquisitionOS

Make sourcing, evidence, decisions, handoffs, and acquisition outcomes visible from first lead through frontline readiness.

CRM health maintenance

Keep the customer system usable, trusted, measurable, and aligned with the work employees actually perform.

Customer-experience optimization

Find the friction customers and employees feel, then turn it into practical improvements rather than another report.

Workflow automation

Remove avoidable rework and lost handoffs while preserving ownership, judgment, and the systems that remain authoritative.

The connecting idea is simple: healthier systems, clearer ownership, better customer experiences, and operations that can learn from what actually happened.

The value to your dealership

You are not hiring someone to manage a list of leads.

You are hiring someone to build and run a repeatable acquisition operation. I will source vehicles, evaluate imperfect opportunities, coordinate appraisals, negotiate responsibly, and keep purchased units moving toward the frontline. AcquisitionOS gives that work structure.

I lead the workThe job is acquiring the right vehicles—not operating software for its own sake.
The system keeps it accountableEvery vehicle has evidence, every decision has an owner, and every delay becomes visible.
MORE OPPORTUNITIES

Work every approved source

Bring seller submissions, marketplaces, and other channels into one controlled review path without losing where the lead came from.

FASTER DECISIONS

Put the evidence in front of the appraiser

Organize vehicle identity, condition, photos, missing facts, and valuation context before the opportunity goes cold.

FRONTLINE OWNERSHIP

Do not lose the unit after purchase

Keep title, transport, recon, exceptions, and the next responsible owner visible until the vehicle is ready.

MEASURABLE IMPROVEMENT

Learn from what actually happened

Compare the original decision with verified results so the store can tighten its buy box using its own evidence.

This is more than a presentation

Working proof—in dealership language.

The demonstration connects seller capture, marketplace intelligence, staff decisions, and downstream accountability. It also stops where human authority or real dealership data is required.

VIN-to-staff persistence

A completed seller form becomes an actual saved staff record—with the decoded vehicle, seller details, payoff answers, and six photo references still attached.

16 of 16 release checks passed

Automated checks confirm the main workflows and safety boundaries still work after each release. This is software verification, not a claim about dealership results.

8 governed skills · 32 test cases

Eight acquisition jobs follow written rules, stop when evidence is weak, and preserve human approval. The plain-English list below shows exactly what each one does.

Immutable release + rollback

Every published checkpoint maps to an exact source version. If a release fails, the prior verified version can be restored without guessing what changed.

Eight governed acquisition skills

What the system knows how to do—safely.

These are controlled decision-support jobs, not autonomous buying authority.

  1. Check the evidenceFind stale sources, missing facts, conflicts, and rights problems.
  2. Match the vehicleAlign VIN, trim, mileage, equipment, geography, and comparable basis.
  3. Review the photosCheck required views and record only visible, supportable concerns.
  4. Estimate reconBuild low, expected, and high repair ranges from approved store costs.
  5. Model exit valueShow explainable retail or wholesale ranges for a named market and horizon.
  6. Test deal economicsCalculate capital at risk, contribution, ROI, and an explainable offer ceiling.
  7. Escalate uncertaintyStop weak or conflicting cases and route the next safe human action.
  8. Validate outcomesCompare frozen projections with actual results so the system can improve.

The operating question—not a forecast

What would it take—and where would the system break first?

AcquisitionOS turns the target into a discovery model: required source volume, review capacity, seller-response ownership, appraisal throughput, offer decisions, buy-to-frontline time, and verified economics. The number is configurable and demonstrates planning pressure only—it is not a commitment or proof of performance.

Who made the call—and why?

Keep store policy, approval authority, ownership, and the evidence behind every important decision clear and reviewable.

What should my team work next?

Bring seller opportunities and real marketplace listings into one prioritized view, with the missing facts and next safe action easy to see.

What I am looking for

Employment by a dealership ready to build this with me.

I’m seeking a dealership role where acquisitions leadership and technology improvement meet—whether that is Acquisitions Manager, an acquisition-focused technology or operations role, or a position intentionally spanning both. This is an employment conversation, not a software sale.

The right dealership provides executive sponsorship, operating access, tools, approved data paths, and time to finish AcquisitionOS inside a real operation. I provide acquisitions leadership, the product foundation, implementation work, and sustained ownership.

The benefit is mutual: the dealership gains an acquisitions and technology operator investing an unusual systems capability into its business, while I gain the real environment and resources required to take Symphony Automotive from working concept to proven dealership capability.

Why T.J. for Acquisitions Manager

I am applying to lead acquisitions—not sell you a software subscription.

AcquisitionOS is evidence of how I think about the job: source vehicles, judge imperfect opportunities, protect capital, move quickly, coordinate the departments that touch a purchased unit, and remain accountable for what reaches the frontline.

I will own

The acquisition operation

  • Build and work multiple vehicle sources
  • Move opportunities through evidence, appraisal, offer, and purchase
  • Coordinate title, transport, recon, and frontline readiness
  • Own unit, speed, cost, and outcome accountability
I lead the work. The platform makes the work harder to lose, ignore, or misunderstand.
I also bring

A system-building advantage

  • A working platform developed around the full acquisition job
  • Current frontline dealership context and disciplined discovery
  • Automation, evidence controls, testing, training, and measurement
  • The ability to turn good practice into a visible, repeatable process
I am not arriving with only a playbook. I have already invested in the working foundation I would use to strengthen the department.
The bottom lineHire me to lead acquisitions, and the dealership gains an accountable operator plus the founder of AcquisitionOS investing his full implementation capability into making the operation stronger.

Let’s talk about the role and the operation

T.J. Bumgardner

If your dealership needs acquisitions leadership, technology improvement, or someone prepared to connect both, I would like to have that conversation.

This demo provesA coherent acquisition operating model, working seller/backend flow, governed real-market evidence, and disciplined human authority.
This demo does not claimDealership adoption, production approval, live lender decisions, autonomous contact, licensed appraisal values, or guaranteed performance.

Evidence boundary: public lender rules are DEMO EVIDENCE only, collateral fit is never credit approval, and KBB evidence cannot by itself qualify, value, appraise, offer on, or authorize purchase of a vehicle.
